Patrick Bashir Baladi is a prominent English actor renowned for his diverse roles across television, film, and stage. He gained widespread recognition for his portrayal of Neil Godwin, the rival to David Brent, in the acclaimed BBC mockumentary series The Office, which he featured in during its second and final seasons, including the memorable Christmas special.

Born in Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands, Baladi comes from a unique background; his father was a Syrian gynaecologist and obstetrician, while his mother worked as a midwife.
