Caren Pistorius was born and raised in Rustenburg, South Africa, alongside her three older siblings. At the age of 12, her family made the significant move to New Zealand, where she discovered her passion for acting through participation in high school theatre productions. Pursuing her creative interests, Caren studied Art and Design at university, specializing in animation and illustration. After completing her degree, she initially returned to the stage before transitioning to roles in television and film.
In 2014, Caren's talent was recognized with nominations for the Graham Kennedy Award and a Logie Award in Australia, marking a significant milestone in her career.
