Ivy Ling Po

Huang Yu-chun, born on November 16, 1939, in Shantou, Republic of China, is a former actress and Chinese opera singer who is widely recognized under her stage name, Ivy Ling Po (Chinese: 凌波). Ivy gained remarkable fame in the 1960s through a series of successful Huangmei opera films, with her breakout role in The Love Eterne (1963) propelling her to superstardom across Asia practically overnight.
