Shanelle Gray, originally named Shanelle Workman, was born in Fairfax, Virginia, to parents Chrisoula and Glenn. Early in her life, Shanelle participated in pageants and achieved a significant milestone by portraying Young Cosette in the Original Broadway production of *Les Misérables*. This success prompted her relocation to Los Angeles, where she starred as Rose in the ABC pilot *Howie and Rose*, alongside Howie Mandel. However, her childhood took a challenging turn, leading her to enter foster care.

At the age of 18, Shanelle embarked on a vibrant acting career, appearing in popular shows such as *Grey's Anatomy* and various soap operas. Yet, her true aspiration lay in production, prompting her to further her education and gain experience working for a prominent producer. Through determination and hard work, she established one of Los Angeles' premier Performing Arts Studios.

Shanelle's production achievements are noteworthy, having produced over 180 short films, several of which received accolades. Currently, she is focused on feature films and television projects, collaborating with Shad "Bow Wow" Moss on various initiatives. Through her studio, Shanelle Gray Studios, and her production company, SW, she has shifted her focus from acting to mentoring some of the industry’s leading talents.

Shanelle is the proud mother of two daughters, both successful actresses—Skylar Gray (*Evil*, CBS) and Parker Gray (*Bunk'd*). Her family includes her sister Ariel Winter (*Modern Family*) and brother Jimmy Workman (*Addams Family*), all of whom are entrenched in the entertainment industry. She is currently in a relationship with guitarist and songwriter Micah Faulkner.
