Matt Billingslea

Matt Billingslea is a talented drummer, producer, songwriter, and educator based in Nashville, Tennessee. He has been a prominent figure in the music scene since 2013, when he began collaborating with the renowned artist Taylor Swift. Hailing from Westminster, Maryland, Matt pursued his passion for music at Capital University, where he earned a Bachelor of Music degree in Jazz Studies and Music Industry.

Following his graduation, Matt relocated to Denver, Colorado, where he honed his skills over the next four years by performing and recording with a variety of regional musicians. His dedication to the craft extends beyond performance; as a clinician, he has delivered numerous lectures and masterclasses, showcasing his expertise in drumming. Notably, he presented at the prestigious Percussive Arts Society International Convention (PASIC) in 2016.

Currently, Matt shares his knowledge and experience as an adjunct faculty member at Lipscomb University, where he continues to inspire and mentor the next generation of musicians. His diverse skill set and impressive contributions to the music industry highlight his commitment to excellence and innovation in drumming and music production.
