4 titles Acting Oct 29, 1979 Paris, France

Adan Jodorowsky, known professionally as Adanowsky, was born in October 1979 in France. He is the son of acclaimed Chilean filmmaker Alejandro Jodorowsky and Mexican artist Valerie Jodorowsky, and he shares his artistic lineage with his brother, Brontis Jodorowsky. Adan has made his mark in both film and music, showcasing his talents in five films to date. His notable performance as the Young Fenix in his father's film "Santa Sangre" earned him a Saturn Award for Best Performance by a Younger Actor in 1989.

Adan's musical journey began early; he started piano lessons at just six years old. At seven, he had a memorable encounter with the legendary James Brown, who taught him to dance. His guitar education came from none other than George Harrison of The Beatles, who humorously remarked that Adan was "far," leaving him unsure whether it referred to his potential as a guitarist or otherwise. By the age of sixteen, he joined the punk band The Hellboys, later exploring new genres with musicians such as Yarol Poupad and Adrienne Pauly, leading him to play bass.

On October 30, 2006, he debuted his solo career with the album "Étoile Éternelle," featuring the single "L'idole," which tells the story of a waiter yearning for fame. Adan's diverse musical influences, including Elvis Presley and Frank Sinatra, contribute to his unique, eclectic sound that blends jazz and rock. He has also collaborated with artists like Alizée and directed projects such as "Echek" (2001).
