Hayley Kiyoko

Hayley Kiyoko Alcroft, born on April 3, 1991, is a multifaceted American artist renowned for her talents as a singer-songwriter, actress, and author. Kiyoko's early career began in childhood, where she showcased her skills as a model and actress, landing roles in films such as *Lemonade Mouth* (2011), *Jem and the Holograms* (2015), *Insidious: Chapter 3* (2015), and *XOXO* (2016). She also made her mark on television with recurring roles in *Wizards of Waverly Place* (2010) and *The Fosters* (2014), as well as starring in *CSI: Cyber* (2015–2016) and *Five Points* (2018–2019).

Kiyoko's music career took off with the release of three solo extended plays: *A Belle to Remember* (2013), *This Side of Paradise* (2015), featuring the hit "Girls Like Girls," and *Citrine* (2016). Her debut studio album, *Expectations* (2018), achieved chart success in the United States, Canada, and Australia, followed by the EP *I'm Too Sensitive for This Shit* (2020) and her sophomore album *Panorama* (2022).

In 2023, she ventured into literature with her first novel, *Girls Like Girls*, which quickly rose to the top of the New York Times Best Sellers list for Young Adult Hardcover and earned the Goldie Award for Young Adult Fiction from the Golden Crown Literary Society. Additionally, Kiyoko collaborated with Naomi Franquiz and Marla Vazquez to create a comic book inspired by her song "Gravel to Tempo."
