Robin Slonina
Robin Slonina (née Barcus), born on April 19, 1974, is a versatile contemporary artist known for her innovative approach to multiple artistic disciplines. Her work has gained recognition across various platforms, with exhibitions held at prestigious venues such as the Evanston Arts Center in Illinois, the John Michael Kohler Arts Center in Wisconsin, and the Compton Verney Art Museum in England. In addition, her art has been showcased at renowned Chicago locations including the Smart Museum of Art, The Peace Museum, and Artemisia Gallery, as well as at the New York Mills Cultural Center in Minnesota and the Atomic Todd Gallery in Las Vegas.
In 2006, Slonina founded Skin City Body Painting in Las Vegas, a business that specializes in professional body painting, makeup, and hair styling services, further establishing her influence in the realm of body art. Her expertise in this field led to her role as a judge on "Skin Wars," a competitive reality show focused on body painting, where she collaborated with notable figures such as RuPaul and Craig Tracy, under the hosting of Rebecca Romijn.
