Born and raised in Southern California, actress Sarah José grew up in a family with a unique blend of medical expertise—her father was a South American neurologist, and her mother had a background in nursing. Interestingly, Sarah’s journey into the world of acting began unexpectedly during a ballet class, where she was encouraged to audition for a local theater production. Following a series of successful performances in various plays and musicals, she caught the attention of casting director Joanne DeNaut at South Coast Repertory, leading to her acceptance into their prestigious summer company intensive program.
