Gary Beadle, born on July 8, 1965, is a notable British actor. He grew up in Bermondsey, South London, as one of five siblings in a Roman Catholic family. During their childhood, he and his older brother Rikki created a rendition of the 1976 musical-gangster film Bugsy Malone for Southwark London Borough Council. Rikki directed the production and portrayed Talula, while Gary took on the role of janitor Fizzy. Although Rikki attempted to invite the film's original director, Alan Parker, his assistant attended instead and facilitated their entry into the Anna Scher Theatre School.

Gary developed a passion for hip hop, heavily influenced by artists like Run-D.M.C. and the Sugarhill Gang, prompting him to relocate to New York City in his early twenties. Upon returning to London, he adopted the stage name 'Pretty Boy Gee' and partnered with 'Little Stevie Bee' to establish a rap group, The City Limits Crew. In 1985, this duo released two singles on the independent Survival Records label.

Transitioning from comedy to acting, Beadle's career includes appearances in The Young Ones (1984), the film Absolute Beginners (1986), and the sitcom Absolutely Fabulous. He became well-known for his role as Paul Trueman in EastEnders, which he left due to creative differences regarding his character's direction. His subsequent work includes roles in Thieves Like Us (2007), The Sarah Jane Adventures (2008), and the film In the Heart of the Sea (2015). He continues to appear in various productions, demonstrating his versatility as an actor.
