Elza Kephart
Elza Kephart, a native of Montréal, is a talented filmmaker who earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film Production and Screenwriting from Emerson College. After completing her studies, she returned to her roots and embarked on her filmmaking journey by writing and directing her debut feature, GRAVEYARD ALIVE. Premiering in 2003, the film made a significant impact by being showcased at over 20 international film festivals, receiving multiple accolades, and securing distribution and sales on a global scale.
Kephart's dedication to her craft has led her to participate in prestigious programs such as the Canadian Film Centre’s Director’s Lab, the TIFF Talent Lab, and the Berlinale Talent Campus. Throughout her career, she has successfully acquired development funding for various projects, illustrating her commitment to advancing her artistic vision.
Her second feature, GO IN THE WILDERNESS, further solidifies her reputation as a compelling storyteller in the film industry. With a unique voice and a passion for filmmaking, Elza Kephart continues to make her mark in the cinematic landscape, showcasing her ability to blend creativity with professional excellence.
