Tristan Harris

Tristan Harris is a prominent American computer scientist and entrepreneur known for his advocacy in ethical technology. As the president and co-founder of the Center for Humane Technology, he is at the forefront of efforts to realign technology with human values and combat the phenomenon he describes as 'human downgrading.' A graduate of Stanford University, Harris focused on the ethics of human persuasion during his studies, which laid the groundwork for his later work.

Before establishing the Center for Humane Technology, Harris served as a design ethicist at Google, where he dedicated three years to creating guidelines for how technology can ethically influence user behavior on a massive scale.
