Happy Ranajit, an alumnus of the prestigious National School of Drama, has made a significant mark in the realm of Delhi theatre as both an actor and director. Renowned for his compelling portrayals, he garnered widespread acclaim for his roles as Aurangzeb in "Aurangzeb" and Krishna in "Maharathi." His exceptional talent earned him the Best Actor award at the Mahindra Theatre Awards in 2010 for his role in "Roop Aroop." Additionally, he received the Best Actor accolade at the international GATS Theatre Festival in Beijing for his performance in "Richard III."

In 2012, Happy was honored with the Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar by the Sangeet Natak Akademi for his contributions to acting. His impressive career includes a remarkable stint at the Kingdom of Dreams, where he starred in the production "Zangoora," performing over 1,000 shows. He has also represented Indian theatre at numerous international festivals, including performances in Egypt, Russia, and Pakistan.

In addition to acting, Happy is a dedicated theatre educator, conducting workshops, and has a flair for writing and directing. His play "Straight Proposal" was selected for both Bharat Rang Mahotsav 2015 and the Mahindra Theatre Awards 2015. Moreover, he directed and wrote "Humari Adhuri Kahani," produced by Mahesh Bhatt.
