Kristin Rudrüd
Kristin Rudrüd, born on May 23, 1955, is a talented American actress recognized for her work in film, theater, and television. Hailing from Fargo, North Dakota, and raised in Moorhead, Minnesota, she completed her high school education in Fargo before pursuing her passion for acting at Minnesota State University Moorhead. Her journey took her to London for further training, and upon returning to the United States, she made her mark in New York City’s theater scene, notably landing a role in the acclaimed production of Amadeus. She also participated in a public reading of Othello alongside the legendary Al Pacino.
Rudrüd's transition to film began after her return to Fargo, where she gained significant recognition for her role as the wife of William H. Macy's character in the Coen brothers' iconic dark comedy, Fargo, released in 1996. Her film credits include a part in the 1999 comedy Pleasantville, the award-winning short Wheels Locked, and appearances in Drop Dead Gorgeous and A Psychic Mom.
