Roger Pierre
Roger Pierre (August 30, 1923 – January 23, 2010) was a renowned French comedian and actor, celebrated for his significant contributions to the world of comedy.
Born in Paris, France, Pierre rose to fame in partnership with fellow comedian Jean-Marc Thibault. Together, they became one of France's most beloved comedic duos, captivating audiences throughout the 1950s, 60s, and 70s. Pierre made his film debut in the 1953 comedy "Belle mentalité" (Wonderful Mentality) and continued to showcase his talent in various notable films such as "Mary Mary" (1963), "Who Is This Woman?" (1967), "The Sole Heir" (1980), "Mr Masure" (1987), and "The Night of Barbizon" (2001).
In 1973, Pierre and Thibault expanded their comedic repertoire to television with the series "Les Maudits Rois fainéants" (The Damned Lazy Kings), a clever satire of the 1972 adaptation of "Les Rois maudits."
