Kimie Tsukakoshi

Kimie Tsukakoshi, born in Sydney, Australia, is the daughter of a Singapore-Chinese mother and a Japanese father. From a young age, she immersed herself in the performing arts, honing her skills in ballet, jazz, and contemporary dance before shifting her focus to musical theatre and screen acting.

Tsukakoshi made her professional stage debut in early 2018 with the La Boite Theatre Company, showcasing her talent in "The Dead Devils of Cockle Creek." She has since built a diverse portfolio of stage performances, earning recognition for her compelling portrayals. Notably, at the Brisbane Festival, she starred in the lead role of the world premiere of "Hanako: Desire and Other Secret Weapons," produced by Belloo Creative, the same team behind the acclaimed play "Motherland." Her outstanding performance in "Hanako" garnered her a nomination for Best Female Actor at the 2017 Matilda Awards, highlighting her rising prominence in the theatre scene.
