Gillian Tan
Gillian Tan, affectionately known as Jilly, began her journey as a commercial model in the vibrant landscape of tropical Singapore. Since 1999, she has established herself as a professional performer in Singapore's television industry, which serves as the primary medium for her local craft. Over the years, Jilly has showcased her talent through numerous lead, guest, and recurring roles across various network channels. Notably, she has been part of four different television series, including English-language hits like Channel i's *Durian King*, Kids Central's *Kids Rock*, and Channel News Asia's *Bertha's Nest*, along with the Mandarin series *Hu Jia* on Channel U.
Jilly's versatility is a hallmark of her career, allowing her to sidestep typecasting and embrace a range of challenging characters. In 2007, she starred in three independent feature films, a rare accomplishment in Singapore's film landscape. Passionate about nurturing new ideas, she actively participates in short films and local plays, relishing her stage debut as "Oberon" in *A Midsummer Night's Dream* at Action Theatre, directed by Dennis Tan.
