Raivo Trass (March 12, 1946 – June 7, 2022) was a prominent figure in Estonian theater, renowned for his work as an actor, director, and educator in the performing arts.

Trass completed his formal education in drama at the Tallinn State Conservatory, graduating from the Performing Arts Department in 1968. His career commenced at the Estonian Drama Theatre, where he performed from 1968 until 1977. He later took on significant leadership roles, serving as the chief stage manager and then the head of Rakvere Theatre from 1977 to 1985. Following this, he returned to the Estonian Drama Theatre as a director from 1985 until 1992. His expertise in stage management continued at Endla Theatre from 1997 to 2004.

In addition to his impactful stage work, Trass made notable contributions to film, beginning with his portrayal of Hans von Risbieter in the iconic 1969 Estonian film, Viimne reliikvia (The Last Relic). He continued to build his filmography with significant roles in Zaza Urushadze's Tangerines (2013), Anders Thomas Jensen's Riders of Justice (2020), and Taneli Mustonen's The Twin (2022). Throughout his life, Trass left a lasting legacy in the Estonian arts scene, influencing generations of performers and enriching the cultural landscape.
