Peter Haskell (October 15, 1934 – April 12, 2010) was a distinguished American actor renowned for his extensive work in television. Born in Boston, Massachusetts, he was the son of Rose Veronica (née Golden) and geophysicist Norman Haskell. Haskell attended Browne & Nichols School and later pursued higher education at Harvard University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree after serving two years in the United States Army, achieving the rank of Private First Class.

His aspirations to enter law school at Columbia took an unexpected turn when he was cast in the off-Broadway production The Love Nest in 1963, sharing the stage with notable actors such as James Earl Jones and Sally Kirkland. From that point on, Haskell became a familiar face on television, featuring in a variety of series throughout the 1960s, 70s, and 80s. He gained recognition for his roles in soap operas like Search for Tomorrow and Ryan's Hope, where he was a regular cast member.

In addition to his television work, Haskell appeared in several films, including the titular role in The Legend of Earl Durand, as well as Riding the Edge and Robot Wars. He is perhaps best remembered for his portrayal of Mr. Sullivan, the CEO of Playpals Toys, in the horror films Child's Play 2 and Child's Play 3, directed by David Kirschner. Haskell's career left a lasting impact on the entertainment industry, showcasing his versatility and talent.
