Eddie Nestor

Edward Augustus Matthew Christopher Nestor MBE, born on June 5, 1964, is an accomplished British actor, comedian, and media personality renowned for his dynamic presence in television and radio. He gained significant recognition for his performances in popular series such as *The Real McCoy* and *Desmond's*, and had a memorable cameo in the iconic film *Trainspotting*.

Nestor has made a mark in radio with his engaging programs, notably hosting a mid-morning show on BBC Radio London, where he entertains audiences Monday through Thursday. He previously helmed *The Rum Shop* on Friday nights and the *Drivetime* show, earning accolades for his broadcasting skills, including the esteemed title of "Speech Broadcaster of the Year" at the 2007 Sony Radio Academy Awards.

His charity work is also noteworthy; he co-hosted the annual "East Meets West" charity show for the Imperial College Indian Society in 2007 and 2008, which attracted over 1,750 attendees at the London Palladium.
