Rhys Becker
Rhys Becker was born on December 20, 2010, in Encinitas, California. His journey into the world of performance began at the tender age of seven when he was cast as young Philip Carlyle in a local production of *The Greatest Showman* at Center Stage in Orange County. This experience ignited his passion for acting, leading him to take on prominent roles such as Aladdin, Willy Wonka, and Alexander Hamilton at the same venue.
At just 10 years old, Rhys expanded his artistic repertoire by joining the Center Stage competitive Dance Team, where he showcased his talents in hip hop, all-boys jazz, tap, and musical theatre ensemble, while also performing solo dances and monologues. This period sparked his interest in television and film acting, prompting him to study under renowned instructors like Cynthia Bain and Jillian Rose Reed at CYBAS, as well as participating in improv and voiceover classes.
His dedication paid off when he landed a supporting role as Will, the son of Gina Carano’s character, in the Western film *Terror on the Prairie*, directed by Michael Polish. Filming in Montana alongside experienced actors enriched Rhys's skills and experience. The film is set for release in summer 2022. Outside of his artistic pursuits, Rhys enjoys outdoor activities like rock climbing, surfing, and hiking, as well as playing guitar and ukulele. In quieter moments, he can be found engrossed in a book or building intricate Lego structures.
