Dito Darmawan
Bramandito Darmawan Putra, known as Dito Darmawan, was born on December 24, 1999, in Indonesia. He began his journey in the film industry during high school, making a name for himself as a director with his debut short film, Réve (2016). This project earned him recognition by winning the Cinematography competition at SMAN 21 Jakarta. As he transitioned to college, Dito maintained his creative momentum, directing several notable short films, including Parenthesis (2017), In Uterus (2018), and Worth the Loss (2019). He honed his directing skills further by participating in the film workshop "Mondi Blanc," guided by Nosa Normanda.
Dito's acting career took off in 2020 with the short film Friendly Fire, which garnered accolades at numerous international film festivals across Indonesia, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, and the Netherlands. With the support of Sakha Talent, he secured roles in various prominent films and series, showcasing his versatility as an actor. His upcoming projects include notable titles such as Ancika: Dia yang Bersamaku 1995, Ronggeng Kematian, Pay Later, Ular Tangga Darah, YOLO, and Happy Go Jenny, all set for release in 2023 and 2024. Dito Darmawan continues to emerge as a talented figure in the Indonesian film industry, both behind and in front of the camera.
