Tara Basro

Tara Basro, born Andi Mutiara Pertiwi Basro on June 11, 1990, is a prominent Indonesian actress and model. She made her cinematic debut in 2011, portraying the character Putri in "Si Boy's (Daily) Notes," a sequel to the beloved Si Boy series. The following year, Tara showcased her versatility by appearing in the horror anthology "Hi5teria" and the drama "Rumah dan Musim Hujan."

In 2013, she took on a role alongside Pandji Pragiwaksono in "Make Money," but it was in 2014 that she truly made her mark, starring in four diverse films: the family-oriented omnibus "Princess, Pirate and Alien," the romantic drama "The Right One," the collaborative thriller "Killers," and "The Golden Cane Warrior," which delves into the martial arts realm.

Tara’s talent did not go unnoticed, and in 2015, she received the prestigious Best Actress award at the Indonesian Film Festival for her compelling performance as Sari in Joko Anwar's critically acclaimed film "A Copy of My Mind."
