Alexandra Johnes
Alexandra Johnes, born on December 3, 1976, is a distinguished American documentary film producer and former actress. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree from the prestigious Tisch School of the Arts at New York University (NYU), laying a strong foundation for her career in the film industry.
From 2007 to 2012, Johnes played a pivotal role at Jigsaw Productions, a company led by the acclaimed Academy Award-winning director Alex Gibney. During her tenure, she was instrumental in overseeing various facets of both development and production, contributing to numerous impactful projects. In recognition of her talents and contributions, Johnes was awarded the Transatlantic Partnership (TAP) Producing Fellowship by the Independent Filmmaker Project in 2012, further solidifying her reputation in the industry.
Currently, Johnes is at the helm of Special Projects, her own production company, where she continues to create compelling documentary content. Her dedication to the art of storytelling through film is evident in her work.
