Arvydas Romas Sabonis is a retired Lithuanian basketball player and entrepreneur, celebrated as one of the greatest European players in the sport's history. Born on December 19, 1964, in Kaunas, Lithuania, Sabonis made a significant impact both in Europe and the NBA. Sabonis began his professional career with Žalgiris Kaunas before moving to Spain, where he played for Forum Valladolid.
