Harry Groener
Harry Groener, an accomplished actor and dancer, was born on September 10, 1951, in Augsburg, Bavaria, Germany. He grew up in a musically enriched environment with a mother who was an opera singer and a father who played concert piano. At just two years old, Groener’s family relocated to the United States, where his artistic journey began. He honed his craft as an apprentice with the San Francisco Ballet before pursuing drama at the University of Washington.
Groener’s theater career took off when he made his Broadway debut in the 1979 revival of "Oklahoma!" He showcased his talents in several notable productions, including "Cats," "Crazy for You," and "Copenhagen," earning multiple Tony Award nominations for his performances in these musicals.
