Teri Weigel, hailing from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, is a well-known figure in the modeling and adult entertainment industries. She began her modeling career as a teenager, gaining early recognition by featuring in the Saks Fifth Avenue catalog. Weigel garnered significant attention when she graced the cover of Playboy's November 1985 issue and was later named Playboy Playmate of the Month for April 1986. Following her time with Playboy, she ventured into mainstream cinema, taking on several minor roles.

In August 1990, Weigel's life took a dramatic turn when she was involved in a serious car accident, resulting in severe neck and back injuries that necessitated five surgical procedures. The aftermath left her unable to work for four months, forcing her and her husband to sell their home and relocate to an apartment. During the filming of a nude video, a colleague proposed the idea of entering the adult film industry to help regain her financial stability. Initially reluctant, Weigel ultimately embraced the opportunity, starring in her first adult film, *Inferno*, in 1991 alongside Marc Wallice. This marked her as the first Playboy Playmate to transition into adult films, leading to Playboy's severance of ties with her, as the brand prohibits Playmates from participating in adult content. Additionally, she spent some time working at the Bunny Ranch brothel in Nevada until September 1998.
