Connor Jessup
Connor William Jessup, hailing from Toronto, Canada, is an accomplished actor and filmmaker known for his diverse talents. He embarked on his acting journey at just eleven years old, quickly gaining fame for his portrayal of Ben Mason in the acclaimed sci-fi series 'Falling Skies' (2011). Jessup further solidified his reputation with a compelling performance as Taylor Blaine in the dramatic series 'American Crime' (2015). Most notably, he captivated audiences as Tyler Locke in the Netflix fantasy series 'Locke & Key' (2020-2022), where he played a central role throughout all three seasons.
Jessup's venture into directing began in 2014 with the short film 'Little Coffins,' which has since become a piece of lost media. He continued to refine his skills with a series of short films, including 'Boy' (2015), 'Lira's Forest' (2017), and 'The Constant' (2018), as well as the documentary 'A.W. A Portrait of Apichatpong Weerasethakul' (2018). In 2019, he participated in the '30/30 Vision: Three Decades of Strand Releasing' project, directing one of thirty short films. His adaptation of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s 'Night Flight' (2020) and the upcoming sleepwalking drama 'Julian and the Wind' (2024) highlight his growth as a filmmaker.
Beyond his artistic endeavors, Jessup is a passionate advocate for LGBTQ+ rights and publicly came out as gay in June 2019, coinciding with Pride Month.
