Allie Kaplan

Allie Kaplan, born in 1993 in New Jersey, is one half of the artistic duo known as The Kaplan Twins. Their creative endeavors delve into the intricate nature of contemporary celebrity culture, offering a lens that reflects the perspectives of the millennial generation. Through their art, they aim to spark dialogue, challenge societal norms, and reinterpret the narratives presented in today’s media.

The twins pursued their education at New York University, where they graduated in 2015. Allie earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting with a minor in Art History, while Lexi received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting. The duo has made their mark primarily in Los Angeles, exhibiting at notable venues such as We Rise Gallery, De Re Gallery, and the World of Wonder Storefront Gallery. They have also participated in various pop-up exhibitions and performed live art at the Delano Hotel during Art Basel Miami Beach in 2017.

In the summer of 2018, they unveiled a new series at the Montauk Beach House, in collaboration with Roman Fine Art. Their works are now part of numerous celebrity and private collections around the globe. The Kaplan Twins' art has garnered attention in prestigious publications, including Vanity Fair, Flaunt Magazine, and W Magazine, solidifying their presence in the contemporary art scene.
