Priit Loog
Priit Loog, born on January 6, 1984, is a prominent Estonian actor known for his work across stage, television, and film. He made his film debut in 2006 with a minor role in the horror film *Vedma*, directed by Oleg Fesenko. This was followed by a small part in the 2008 historical drama *Detsembrikuumus*, directed by Asko Kase. Loog's breakthrough came in 2012 when he portrayed Tõnn in the crime-comedy *Vasaku jala reede*, produced by Tallinn Skyline Productions.
His impressive filmography continued with a significant role as Paul Mets in the 2015 World War II drama *1944*, directed by Elmo Nüganen. The film offered a unique perspective on the war from the viewpoint of Estonian soldiers. Later, Loog garnered critical acclaim for his portrayal of Andres in the film *Tõde ja õigus*, an adaptation of A. H. Tammsaare's renowned literary work, which began production in late 2016 and premiered in February 2019. For this performance, he was honored with the Best Actor award at the 2020 Estonian Film and Television Awards.
On television, Loog debuted as Richard Rõõmus in the ETV mini-series *Tuulepealne maa*, which explored Estonia's history. He was a regular on the improvisational series *Vilde tee* in 2009, and from 2010 to 2013, he starred as Paul Moorits in the popular drama *Pilvede all*. His versatility is further showcased by numerous roles in the crime-comedy series *Kättemaksukontor* between 2010 and 2014. More recently, in 2021, he appeared as Peeter in the comedy film *Jahihooaeg*, directed by Ergo Kuld.
