Nichole Sakura
Nichole Sakura, previously known as Nichole Bloom, is a talented Japanese-American actress recognized for her memorable performances in both television and video games. She gained widespread acclaim for her portrayal of Cheyenne Thompson in the NBC sitcom *Superstore* from 2015 to 2021. Additionally, she showcased her acting prowess as Amanda in the hit series *Shameless* from 2014 to 2016 and lent her voice to Emily Davis in the acclaimed horror video game *Until Dawn* by Supermassive Games.
Born to a Japanese mother and an American father of Irish descent, Sakura grew up in San Francisco, where she often visited family in Japan during the summer months. She completed her high school education at Santa Susana High School in Simi Valley before pursuing a degree in Theater at the University of Southern California, graduating in just three years. Despite a setback at The Groundlings Theatre, where she was cut from the program, she persevered in her acting career.
In 2015, she appeared in the music video for "Broken Halo," a single by Phantoms. Her character Cheyenne in *Superstore* was a highlight of the show, which centered on employees at a fictional big-box store. Sakura has also voiced characters in several animated series, including *Suzume*, *OK K.O.! Let's Be Heroes*, *Kiff*, and *Central Park*. In 2023, she took on a recurring role as Jessica, a ghost, in CBS's *Ghosts*, and starred in the comedy film *Please Don't Destroy: The Treasure of Foggy Mountain*, directed by Paul Briganti.
