Babak Hamidian
Babak Hamidian (بابک ØÙ…یدیان) hails from Tehran and holds a degree in Performance Arts from Islamic Azad University. His career in acting began on stage, where he gained invaluable experience before joining the Play Theater Troupe under the mentorship of Atila Pesiani. Hamidian made his cinematic debut in 2003 with the film *Qadamgah*, marking the start of a prolific career in the Iranian film industry.
One of his notable early achievements came in 2004 when he earned a nomination for the Iran Cinema Celebration Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role for his performance in *Big Drum Under Left Foot*. He later won the same award for his role in *The Loose Rope*. Throughout his career, Hamidian has showcased his talent in various films, including *God is Close*, *With Others*, *Hatred*, *Hush Girls Don't Cry*, *Tales*, *Death of the Fish*, *Hussein Who Said No*, *A Respectable Family*, *Resident of Middle Floor*, *Che*, *Paat*, *I am Diego Maradona*, *Confessions of my Dangerous Mind*, *Bodyguard*, and *Gap*.
