Scott Gorham

Scott Gorham, born William Scott Gorham on March 17, 1951, in Glendale, California, is a distinguished American guitarist and songwriter best known for his role as one of the twin lead guitarists in the iconic rock band Thin Lizzy. Although he did not help form the group, Gorham's tenure began in 1974 and extended until their breakup in 1984, solidifying his place in rock history. His collaboration with fellow guitarist Brian Robertson marked the onset of Thin Lizzy's most acclaimed era, as they crafted a signature sound characterized by intricate guitar harmonies and dual vocal arrangements.

Gorham’s contributions to the band include not only his guitar work but also his songwriting, often collaborating with other members to create memorable tracks. After Thin Lizzy disbanded, he returned to the group in 1996 with a revamped lineup, continuing to perform and record music under the Thin Lizzy name, enriching the band's legacy.
