Rani Moorthy

Rani Moorthy is a talented playwright, actress, and the artistic director of Rasa Productions, originally hailing from Malaysia. Her family's attempt to emigrate to Singapore in the aftermath of the 1969 race riots was initially unsuccessful, but they eventually settled there, providing Moorthy with the opportunity to embark on her acting journey. She made her mark in the performing arts by participating in various theatre productions and gaining recognition as the host of "The Ra Ra Show," a popular television comedy.

In 1996, Rani took a significant step in her career by moving to the United Kingdom, where she continued to develop her artistic voice and expand her influence. She honed her skills at the National University of Singapore, where she received her education, laying the groundwork for her future endeavors in the arts.
