Penny Cook
Penny Cook (13 July 1957 – 26 December 2018) was a talented Australian actress, stage director, television presenter, and writer, whose career left a significant mark on the Australian entertainment industry. She is best remembered for her compelling performances in television dramas, particularly in the iconic soap opera A Country Practice, where she portrayed the character Vicki Dean Bowen from 1981 to 1985. Following this, she took on the role of Dr. Elly Fielding, the lead anchor character in E Street, from 1989 to 1991, further solidifying her status as a prominent figure in Australian television.
In the later years of her career, Cook appeared in Neighbours, where she played the recurring role of Prue Brown from 2007 until 2010, showcasing her versatility and enduring appeal.
