**Biography of Aleksandr Goloborodko**

Aleksandr Alexandrovich Goloborodko (Russian: Александр Александрович Голобородько), born on September 28, 1938, in Dniprodzerzhynsk, USSR, is a distinguished actor in both theater and film, recognized as a People's Artist of the RSFSR in 1988.

Goloborodko's passion for performance ignited during his school years, where he participated in an amateur theater group. He pursued formal training at the Kiev Theater Institute, graduating in 1960. Shortly thereafter, he joined the Crimean Russian Drama Theater, setting the stage for his illustrious career. In 1971, he became a key member of the Lesya Ukrainka National Academic Theater of Russian Drama, and later, in 1976, he accepted an invitation from Mikhail Tsarev to perform at the Maly Theater. By 1985, he transitioned to the Mossovet Theatre, further showcasing his versatility as an actor.

Goloborodko's film career began in 1967 with his debut in *The Andromeda Nebula*, but he garnered significant acclaim for his role as Gabriel in the 1969 film *The Last Relic*. Beyond acting, he has contributed to the film industry as the president of the International Film Festival Constellation and serves as the vice-president of the Guild of Russian Film Actors, reflecting his influence and dedication to the arts.
