Poul Bundgaard
Poul Arne Bundgaard was a prominent Danish actor and singer, celebrated for his memorable portrayal of the timid character Kjeld in the beloved Olsen Banden film series. His career spanned several decades, during which he contributed significantly to Danish cinema.
Bundgaard's artistic journey began in the late 1940s and continued into the 1950s, during which he showcased his talents in various operettas. His vocal prowess led him to the esteemed Royal Danish Theatre, where he performed as a singer from 1958 until 1973. Despite his early success in music, Bundgaard gradually shifted his focus primarily to acting, a transition influenced by his struggles with stage fright.
Throughout his career, Bundgaard appeared in numerous Danish films, solidifying his status as a household name. Tragically, his life was cut short during the filming of "Olsen Bandens sidste stik."
