Maria Kavoyianni

Maria Kavoyianni, born on January 13, 1958, in Athens, is a celebrated Greek actress. Raised in Byron, Attica, she pursued her education in economics at the Athens University of Economics and Education and furthered her studies in pedagogy at Maraslio Didaskalio. For many years, she dedicated herself to teaching while simultaneously honing her craft at the Drama School of Karolos Koun, where she graduated in 1986 alongside fellow actresses Kate Konstantinou and Yro Mane.

Kavoyianni's versatility as an actress is evident in her wide-ranging performances, from comedic roles like Aspasia in "Dolce Vita" and Corinna in "Crimes" to deeply moving characters such as Eleni in "Hara Agnotaita." Her ability to traverse the spectrum of human emotion has garnered her acclaim in both theater and film.
