Chew Chor Meng, popularly known as Zhou Chuming, is a prominent Singaporean actor celebrated for his dynamic contributions to the entertainment industry. He kickstarted his career by clinching the top spot at Star Search in 1990, a national talent competition, and has since maintained his status as one of the Top 10 Most Popular Male Artistes at the Star Awards since the ceremony's inception in 1994. In 2004, he shared the All-Time Favourite Artiste award with Li Nanxing and Zoe Tay.

Chew garnered critical acclaim for his role as Hong San in the 1995 drama *The Teochew Family*, further solidifying his reputation when he won the Best Actor Award at the Star Awards 2000 for *Hainan Kopi Tales*. His fame transcended borders, earning him the title of Most Popular MediaCorp Male Artiste in Malaysia. Chew's versatility shone through in the sitcom *Mr. Kiasu*, and he became iconic as Ah Bee in the beloved Channel 8 series *Don't Worry, Be Happy*, where he initially stepped back from the role after the third season to explore diverse genres. He later reprised Ah Bee in the show’s final season and its spinoff *Lobang King*.
