Patrick Huard
Patrick Huard is a multifaceted talent in the entertainment industry, known for his roles as an actor, comedian, filmmaker, author, emcee, director, and producer. He has appeared in 15 feature films, showcasing his versatility in productions such as *La Vie après l'Amour*, *Nez Rouge*, *Sur le Seuil*, and *Maman Last Call*. Huard co-wrote the screenplay for *Bon Cop Bad Cop*, which remains one of Canada's highest-grossing films. His other notable works include *Starbuck*, the most popular Quebec film of 2011, which gained international distribution in over 20 countries, and *Omertà*, a film that revisits the acclaimed TV series after an 11-year hiatus.
In March 2012, he returned to the stage with his third one-man show, *Le Bonheur*, after a 12-year break from solo performances. Prior to this, he had significant success with his comedy specials *18 ans et plus* and *Face à Face*, as well as numerous appearances in the *Juste pour rire* galas and in Eric Bogosian's play *Talk Radio*, where he performed around 1,200 times across Quebec.
On television, Huard has portrayed a variety of characters in series like *Music Hall*, *Cover Girl*, and *Taxi 0-22*, where he became well-known as the irascible taxi driver Rogatien, earning the Artis trophy for "actor in a comedy program" in both 2008 and 2009. His popularity also led to him being honored as Male Personality of the Year by the public in 2009 and 2010. Following his stage comeback, he joined TVA's *Star Académie* as a performance teacher in 2012.
Beyond acting, Huard has taken on behind-the-camera roles, producing and directing *Taxi 0-22*, along with commercials and a documentary for Canal D.
