Collin Blair

Collin Blair, originally from South Texas, embarked on his writing journey in Romania, where he penned the screenplay for "The Family Lottery." This poignant film, produced by MediaPro Pictures, tells the heartwarming story of a young orphan seeking a family to celebrate Christmas with and has since become a beloved holiday classic.

In 2020, Collin achieved significant recognition with his screenplay "King James," which was honored as a Semi-Finalist for the prestigious Academy Nicholl Fellowship. This work caught the attention of producer Peter Samuelson, known for notable films such as "Arlington Road" and "Revenge of the Nerds," leading to its optioning.

Collin's creative talents extend beyond screenwriting; he has written and directed several acclaimed short films that have garnered awards and been showcased at renowned film festivals worldwide, including Raindance, LA Shortsfest, Hollyshorts, and the Santa Fe Film Festival. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film Production from the USC School of Cinematic Arts, which has provided a solid foundation for his career.

Beyond his projects in film and television, Collin is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of storytellers as a mentor with the Young Storytellers Foundation in Los Angeles, demonstrating his commitment to the art of storytelling in all its forms.
