Maite Jáuregui
Maite Jáuregui, born in Los Angeles, California, into a family rich in storytelling and music, relocated to Madrid, Spain, during her early childhood. It was there that she immersed herself in the arts, beginning her journey with the violin, flamenco dancing, and acting classes. Her cinematic debut came with the acclaimed film "Planta 4" (The 4th Floor), directed by Antonio Mercero.
Jáuregui's television career flourished with notable appearances in series such as "Amar en tiempos revueltos" (TVE1), "El Comisario" (Tele5), and "Abuela de Verano" (TVE1). A standout role as a pop singer in "18 RDC" (Antena 3) led her to record an album that accompanied the series.
In 2010, she pursued her training at the prestigious Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts (RADA) in London, where she enhanced her craft and gained recognition in various theatrical productions. Her stage work includes performances in "Don Quixote" (Warehouse Theatre) and "The House of Bernarda Alba," and she received a nomination for Performing Artist of the Year at the LUKAS awards in 2019 for her role in "The Reality." In February 2023, she collaborated on the documentary theatre piece "El Muro" at Teatro de La Abadía.
Jáuregui's television credits include a role in the BAFTA-nominated series "Flowers," where she also contributed to the soundtrack, as well as appearances in "The Mallorca Files" and CBS’s "FBI: International." Her film work includes "Another Love," directed by Victor Perez, and "Sin Conexión," for which she earned Best Actress at the ALCURT Film Festival in 2019.
