Aris Mejias is a distinguished actress with a solid foundation in theatre and nearly two decades of experience in film and television. Her career commenced with local productions, quickly gaining recognition in notable feature films. She appeared in Vicente Juarbe's "Cayo" (2006), Steven Soderbergh's "Che" (2008), and particularly shone in "The Vessel" (2016), directed by Julio Quintana and produced by Terrence Malick, where she shared the screen with Martin Sheen, showcasing her impressive bilingual skills by performing all scenes in both Spanish and English.

Recently, Mejias starred alongside Pedro Capo in "Sol de Medianoche," directed by Douglas Sánchez for HBO. Her voice has become synonymous with the Tribeca Film Festival award-winning film "Una Noche" (2012) by Lucy Mulloy, where she served as the omnipresent narrator.
