Scott Monahan is an internationally acclaimed director, producer, and actor whose artistic journey began in Tokyo during his parents' tenure at Yokota Air Force Base from 1999 to 2006. Following this unique childhood, he honed his craft studying theater at the Shenandoah Conservatory in Virginia, eventually making his way to Los Angeles in 2011. In LA, he took on the role of Artistic Director at Play Collaborative Arts and became a key member of Ceaseless Fun, both of which are recognized as leading immersive, site-responsive theater collectives in the area.

Monahan made his feature film directorial debut with 'Anchorage,' a project he not only directed but also executive produced and starred in. The film achieved significant acclaim, garnering eleven awards and ten nominations, including the prestigious German Independence Award for Best Feature Film at the 2021 Oldenburg International Film Festival, as well as the Audience Award for Best Feature at the 2022 Mammoth Film Festival. Additionally, he appeared in supporting roles in the features 'Sour Party' and 'Uppercut,' both set for theatrical release in 2025.
