Kelly Byrne

Kelly Byrne is a talented Irish actress who has garnered international recognition for her compelling performances. She rose to prominence with her role in "The Canal," directed by the acclaimed Ivan Kavanagh. Byrne's filmography also includes noteworthy appearances in Donal Foreman's "Out of Here" and Darren Thornton's critically acclaimed "A Date for Mad Mary."

Her journey in acting began at The Gaiety School of Acting in 2010, where she honed her craft. The following year, she was invited by renowned director Kirsten Sheridan to join the Actors Studio at Bow Street, formerly known as The Factory. This experience paved the way for her further training at Bow Street from 2013 to 2014, where she participated in the Full-Time Screen Acting Programme. Under the mentorship of esteemed directors such as Shimmy Marcus, Kirsten Sheridan, John Carney, Cathy Brady, and Lance Daly, as well as casting director Maureen Hughes, Byrne refined her skills and deepened her understanding of the craft.
