Luna Sofía Miranda

Luna Sofía Miranda is a multifaceted talent recognized for her captivating portrayal of Lulu in the 2024 film *Anora*, directed by Sean Baker. Hailing from a diverse background with Colombian, Venezuelan, and Italian roots, this New York native has carved a niche for herself in the entertainment industry as an actress, dancer, and producer.

Miranda honed her craft at the Lee Strasberg Youth Program and later attended the Professional Performing Arts School, laying a solid foundation for her artistic career. To finance her education, she took on the challenging role of a stripper, working at Pumps, a Brooklyn club celebrated for its ethical treatment of performers. Her earnings not only supported her Bachelor's degree in Creative Writing and Film through the CUNY BA program but also enabled her to produce 16 live cabaret shows and an independent arthouse film.

An advocate for the rights of sex workers, Luna aims to challenge the stigma surrounding sex work in Hollywood, striving to create pathways for strippers to share their narratives.
