Paul Wight
Paul Donald Wight II, widely recognized as Paul Wight, is an accomplished European American professional basketball player, wrestler, and actor. Currently affiliated with All Elite Wrestling (AEW), he performs in the ring and serves as a commentator for AEW Dark: Elevation. Wight gained fame during his time in World Championship Wrestling (WCW) from 1995 to 1999, where he was known as The Giant and was introduced as "the son of André the Giant." He later transitioned to WWE in 1999, where he was better known by his ring name, Big Show, until 2021.
Standing at an impressive 7 feet 4 inches and weighing 550 pounds, Wight's remarkable size has contributed to his legendary status in wrestling. Throughout his illustrious career, he has achieved significant milestones, including being a seven-time world champion, with titles spanning the WCW World Heavyweight Championship, WWE Championship, ECW World Heavyweight Championship, and multiple tag team championships. He is notably the only wrestler to have captured all four major titles and has earned the distinction of being the 24th Triple Crown and 12th Grand Slam winner in WWE history.
Aside from wrestling, Wight has made his mark in film and television, appearing in movies like Jingle All the Way and The Waterboy, as well as notable TV shows such as Star Trek: Enterprise and the Netflix sitcom The Big Show Show. His diverse talents have made him a beloved figure both in and out of the ring.
