Marcia Rodd (July 8, 1938 – December 27, 2025) was a talented American actress, singer, and director whose career spanned multiple decades and mediums. After honing her craft at Northwestern University, she relocated to New York City, where she quickly established herself as a prominent stage performer.

In 1973, Rodd earned a Tony Award nomination for Best Actress in a Musical for her outstanding work in the production of Shelter. Her television credits include a memorable portrayal of Dorothy Gale in a 1964 adaptation of The Wizard of Oz, which showcased her impressive vocal talents. In 1969, she made her mark in the theater world by originating the character of Bobbi in Neil Simon's acclaimed play, Last of the Red Hot Lovers.

Rodd transitioned to film with her debut in Alan Arkin's 1971 movie, Little Murders, which set the stage for a successful cinematic career. She garnered significant praise for her role as Portland Angel in Jonathan Demme's 1977 film Handle with Care, further solidifying her reputation as a versatile and gifted performer.
