Edna Skinner
Edna Skinner (May 23, 1921 – August 8, 2003) was a distinguished American actress, best remembered for her role as Kay Addison, the neighbor of Wilbur Post, on the beloved television series Mister Ed. Her tenure on the show was marked by the challenges of adapting to the sudden passing of her onscreen husband, Larry Keating. Following his death, the show's writers contemplated the idea of making her character a widow but ultimately opted to introduce a new married couple, Gordon and Winnie Kirkwood, portrayed by Leon Ames and Florence MacMichael, which led to Skinner's departure from the series.
After leaving the entertainment industry in 1964, Skinner shifted her focus to her passion for fly fishing, becoming a respected authority in the field. Her contributions extended beyond acting, showcasing her diverse interests and expertise.
