**Oleg Stefan: A Journey from the Stage to Hollywood**
Oleg Stefan, born in the Soviet Union, embarked on his artistic journey after completing high school in 1976, enrolling at the Shchepkin Theatre School in Moscow. His talent became evident during his second year when he took on two roles at the esteemed Maly Theatre. In 1979, he stepped into the realms of television and film, marking the beginning of a prolific career. Upon graduating in 1980, he joined the Academic Maly Theatre of the USSR, sharing the stage with luminaries such as Smoktunovsky and Zharov, and showcasing his versatility in over 20 productions including "Long Day's Journey into Night" and "Cyrano de Bergerac."
After serving in the USSR Armed Forces from 1985 to 1986, Stefan emigrated to the United States in early 1992. In New York, he explored various professions while honing his craft in modeling and theater, eventually landing his first American film role. By 1994, he had relocated to Los Angeles, where he became a member of both the Screen Actors Guild and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists.
Adopting the name Oleg Stefan, he achieved notable success in Hollywood, appearing in 14 films alongside stars like Robert De Niro and Julia Roberts. His portrayal of Leonid Zubov in the TV series "The Forester" solidified his fame. With a total of 76 film and television credits, including 54 leading roles, Stefan's contributions to the entertainment industry are significant. In his personal life, he has two children, Kristina and John (originally Ivan), from his first marriage to Larisa, and later married Anna Stefanko.
